Terms & conditions:

 1. The Quick Fix includes up to 60 minutes of diagnosis and repair for a “Quick Fix” fee of $40.

 2.  An initial $25 non-refundable deposit toward the $40 quick fix fee is due at drop-off. The remainder ($15) is due when your machine is returned to you.

 3.  The Quick fix is NOT full machine service.
This service is meant to diagnose, troubleshoot, and attempt to resolve the machine issues quickly.  Your machine will not be fully cleaned, lubricated, and no timing adjustments or other complex procedures will be done.  If lint or thread build up is part of the issue, it will be removed, but I will not perform full service cleaning.  Most machines will be functioning and ready to sew again with this service, and I will make every attempt to get your machine sewing again.

 4.  After troubleshooting your machine, and figuring out the issues, I will proceed in one of the following ways:

○  If your machine leaves in working order, I suggest that you will have it serviced when it’s convenient. When you schedule full service within 2 months of your Quick Fix date, I’ll apply the $40 fee toward your full service fee.  I will make sure you know of the issues and how to correct them if they are user error or a simple fix to your machine.

○  If I am unable to have your machine sewing properly with the Quick Fix, I can keep your machine for further diagnosis and provide a repair estimate, if applicable. The $40 quick fix fee will be applied toward your full machine service.  If your machine is repairable but needs full service and/or part replacement, the $40 fee is non-refundable if you choose not to leave your machine for service.

○  If your machine is broken beyond repair, needs extensive repairs beyond my ability or the cost of parts outweighs the value of the machine, you will not be charged the remainder of the $40 quick fix fee. 

 5.  Quick Fix does NOT come with any type of labor warranty.  It is a one-time fee for diagnosis, troubleshooting, and simple repair solutions.

 6.     Your $40 fee will be applied to a full service fee (on the same machine ONLY). Full service must be done within 2 months of the Quick Fix date for the fee to be applied.

 By signing this form, I agree to allow diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving the issues with my sewing machine.  I understand that this is a one-time service, not a full machine service.  I understand it is my responsibility to schedule full service as needed in the future.  I understand that the initial $25 fee is non-refundable and that the remainder $15 fee of the $40 Quick Fix fee is due upon service completion..
